Maisha Mapya Learning Center is a loving, Christ-centered family filled with caring teachers, solid Bible lessons, and safe places to play.
School is a place where children find hope and new life! They are loved, and they learn service, peace, forgiveness, and patience in addition to national Kenyan school subjects from our dedicated teachers.
Because Jesus’ teachings are the foundation of our school, it’s very natural that we actively love our neighbors. That means your sponsorship impact goes far beyond the walls of the school and into the community.
We provide immediate and critical assistance to the children and their families when needed through our Compassion Crisis Intervention Team.

You’ll use the Give Clarity Sponsorship Portal to send and receive letters and videos between you and your sponsored child. If you need help getting started, check out this blog.
You’re encouraged to write to your sponsored child two times per year and send videos a few times per year.

Use these handy prayer prompts to pray Scripture verses for your child.
Your child will write a letter to you two times per year. You can expect to receive one video interview each year. And our team will send candid video clips to you as possible. As a sponsor, you’ll also receive regular updates from Living Stone Global and Maisha Mapya Learning Center with news about ministry, classes, and the school in general.
The greatest gift you give your child each month is your prayer and sponsorship support. Beyond that, gift-giving from sponsors to children can cause issues among siblings, friends, and classmates. For this reason, we ask that you limit any gifts brought to your child to small things like stickers, photos, or sweets.
Living Stone Global will coordinate and host all visits between sponsors and the children, usually at Maisha Mapya Learning Center or in the community. A great way to meet your sponsored child is to come serve with us through a short-term trip. Just like in America, families move to new neighborhoods or change schools from time to time. If your sponsored child no longer attends MMLC, we will let you know right away and then work with you to match you with another child who needs your love and support.
